This project was meant to educate us students on a global community different than our own. A global community is a group of people and their relationship with technology and the online world. My location of choice was Morocco, whereas my partner's location of choice was Madagascar.
One interesting fact that I learned about my location, Morocco, is that it is paving the way for African technological improvements. In Africa, Morocco is the most advanced country in the continent. The artifact that I chose is this slide from our presentation. The reason I included this slide was because it showcased the differences between the two locations the best out of any of the other slides, and it was the most well-done in my opinion.
The one thing that I learned throughout my collaboration with MJ is to be open and honest with my partner. When I knew that there would be times where I would be unable to work on the project, I learned that I had to communicate this with my partner so that he could make arrangements that would allow us both to get our work done on time. It showed me that communication during a group project is not just an added bonus but also a necessity, and can make working together with a peer that much easier. This is a lesson that can be applied to every group project that I do now and in the future.
