For this specific project I had to find and research and share examples of the type of information security that has been reported from the media. As well as achieving and receiving my cyber security certification after my training.
I learned a lot throughout this weeks module as it really opened my eye on how many issues in news then I expected and completely left me in shock. I learned a lot of things that I didn't know about cyber security like the different methods cyber security hackers use in order to gain access to your private data/information.
This Article shares Information About internet fraud and states how to help older relatives steer clear of internet scams. As it dives into details on how older relatives of the older generations are often more gullible and not as knowledge of Internets scams/internet fraud. The article goes on to state that when it comes to romantic scams, the FTC report that people lost 1.3 billion in 2022, which was predominantly older individuals. The article went on to stat that a good way to prevent more victims to having to deal with internet fraud is to make sure their aware and have conversation about internet fraud especially with your grandparents or older relatives. If your older relative were to be hacked or have already gotten hacked the best way to help them get a better understanding on the situation is to be calm and empathetic and not yell at them or use a rude tone As that would not help them with other situations like this in the future or help them with understanding ways to avoid anything like this from happening again.

My certification
A part of this assignment in this week module was to complete the CCBC cyber security training. I Learned a lot of different things and even had to go through and complete obstacles at a 100% accuracy in order to earn my certification.
