I learned that I am pretty prone to these kinds of attacks since I always use simple passwords and since I don't update anything usally . This has especially taught me that there are way more theft crimes going on then I realized espically for peoples personal information

To prevent identity theft you can use encyption. That is a way to pervent against theives. It also is another way to make sure you don't open any mail you werent exspecting especially if there are links.It's also wise to make sure you have a strong passcode for everythiing and to update them every so often.
