For this project, we were instructed to build a virtual PC in order to understand and learn about its various components. My ideal PC build would be geared toward gaming, specifically Call of Duty. For a gaming build, I wanted to focus on processing and storage to avoid lag and have the smoothest experience possible. I used pcpartpicker.com to find all of the necessary components for this build. This site makes it easy to compare prices and informs the user if any parts will not fit together.

The computer I am building will be used for gaming. It has a white RBG theme. The 3 TB of storage will be more than enough to store my gaming data. The AMD Ryzen makes for a great gaming CPU, specifically for my favorite game, Call of Duty. It is not the most high-end gaming CPU but it is the best bang for your buck. This build came to a total of $2,529.99. Though it is quite expensive, it becomes a source of profit with the webcam addition allowing me to stream my gaming.

Before completing this project I had no sense of how many parts go into a computer build and just how expensive it could get. The most expensive item on my list is the video card for $539.99, however, the reviews on this product stress its high performance that matches the high price tag. This was a fun project, I look forward to possibly building a computer.
