Mentoring is “a nurturing process in which a more skilled or more experienced person, serving as a role model, teaches, sponsors, encourages, counsels, and befriends a less skilled or less experienced person for the purpose of promoting the latter's professional and personal development”. (Anderson & Shannon 1988)
Support the development of research skills in pharmacists & pharmacy technicians at any career stage
Encourage & promote pharmacy-led research activities
Facilitate intraprofessional & interprofessional collaborative opportunities
All CSHP AB members are eligible to participate.
Research experience could range from novice to experienced.
Participants can be both Mentors in areas of expertise & Mentees in areas in which they want to learn more.
Interested Mentors complete a Mentor Intake form.
Interested Mentees complete a Mentee Intake form.
Mentees review Mentor Profile page.
Mentees contact Mentors & include copy of their Mentee Intake form
Mentors review Mentee requests & accept/decline requests based on availability & alignment of research interests.
