Ransomware BreakoutEDU

El Dorado Union High School District computer systems have been held hostage by a ransomware attack! Computers are frozen and files, passwords, and student accounts have all been encrypted and possibly compromised.

Luckily, the computer science teacher at Oak Ridge High School has a classroom of computers not connected to the school network - and she installed a backdoor entrance to the district servers! The teacher placed 5 digital locks on the entrance to the backdoor. Unfortunately, the teacher moved to Portland, and took the keys with her!

The ransom message has given us 45 minutes to send payment to decrypt the servers - but we think we can break in and disable the attack before time is up!

On the wall behind the servers is a poster of the computer science concepts - major topics all K-12 students should understand. Could this be a clue?
