CLASS REPRESENTATIVES (CR)
The CLASS REPRESENTATIVE is elected from the students of the class. All students who are registered/enrolled in that class/course vote in the election. Elected Class Representative can be declared by the class-incharge after voting.
A class representative serves as a bridge between the Department and Students. The major role of Class Representative at Computer Science and Engineering in PSCMR college is to work with the students and staff to improve the learning experience. CR makes sure that he/she is speaking on behalf of whole class students and not just giving his/her personal opinion.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLASS REPRESENTATIVES
The duties and responsibilities of class representative will include:
Class Representative is expected to seek other classmate student opinion on academic issues and feed these back to members of staff / management.
Being a Class Representative is an important role in ensuring the highest quality learning experience for students. Attending CR meetings and passing on comments and suggestions.
Attending and helping by coordinating all activities/events organized in/by/for college, such as sports day, fresher’s meet, farewell, function, seminar, conference and workshop to help maintain discipline, serve refreshments, take care of assets, sell programmes and other similar tasks.
CR must suggest and help in conducting any Projects related to uplift the Student skills.
Promoting activities of students achievements on social media like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter etc.
Acting as an extra line of communication between the teacher and student, as well as management and parents.
His/her job is to circulate important information/message conveyed by teacher/management to the whole class.
CR must treat fellow representatives, faculty and other staff with respect.
CR must approach issues of concern positively and if possible raise them with a solution in mind and work with others to solve the issue.
CR must let the authority know at least three days in advance of the meeting if they intend to raise a matter at the meeting.
CR must understand that not all issues or concerns can be solved immediately.
Class representatives should not:
Assume that one student’s issue (or their own), problem or concern is held by the whole class
Speak for all students without checking that the views about to be expressed are shared
Escalate issues and bring student(s) directly to authority without seeking advice
