Once you submit a google form for either cast or crew, you will receive an email with the student and parent contract. This form needs to be signed and returned by September 18, 2026 in order for your child to participate in the Drama Program. Without the signed contract, your child cannot participate in auditions, rehearsals, crew meetings or performances. Contracts can be returned via email (maureen.chorma@gmail.com) or to the CSDA office.
CSDA Drama Program
Student & Parent Contract
Please read and sign this contract to indicate that you understand and agree with the following:
Students:
I have/will continuously read the rehearsal schedule and will do my best to make it to every rehearsal or meeting where I am needed. I have checked for any conflicts with scheduling before signing the contract. I understand that if I miss more than two rehearsals, I may lose the privilege of being in the show.
I understand that mature behavior, positive attitude and teamwork are mandatory during rehearsals and shows. I will be respectful to all the adults and fellow cast members. I will make every effort to complement and support my fellow cast and backstage members.
I understand the importance of schoolwork. I am making the commitment to the Drama Program to give my best, but also understand that participation in the production will not be an excuse for non-completion of any schoolwork. If my teachers decide that my schoolwork is suffering it may be necessary to re-evaluate my priorities.
School rules apply while in the building, i.e. no running in the hallways, and I must remain in locations as directed by the Drama Program volunteers and always ask an adult for permission to leave the group. I will listen to all parent chaperones and Drama Program volunteers.
I understand that cell phones will not be used during the Drama Program.
I understand that warnings will be issued to students who violate school or Drama Program rules, and if a student receives two warnings, parents will be contacted and they may lose the privilege of being involved with the theater program.
I will talk to the directors or coordinators if something is happening that is keeping me from having an enjoyable, rewarding theater experience.
Parents:
I have/will continuously read the rehearsal schedule and will do my best to get my child to every rehearsal or meeting where they are needed. I have checked for any conflicts with scheduling before signing the contract. I understand that if my child misses more than two rehearsals, they may lose the privilege of being in the show.
I understand that extended or additional rehearsals may be necessary and am willing to adjust my schedule to make it to these rehearsals as much as possible.
I am responsible for making transportation arrangements for my child ahead of time and will inform the Drama Program volunteers of any changes. School dismissal changes will need to be made in Pick Up Patrol.
I will pick up my child on time.
It is school policy that students are not permitted to attend a rehearsal or show performance if they have not attended school that day.
It is my responsibility to notify both the school and the Drama Program if my child is unable to attend a regularly scheduled rehearsal.
I understand that the Drama Program operates solely through the efforts of parent volunteers.
I understand that parents are expected to volunteer with one or more duties outlined on the “Parent Information” section of the Drama Program website. Rehearsal chaperones will be needed frequently.
We have read and understand the 2026 CSDA Drama Program contract requirements and are willing to make the commitment to this program by adhering to the above requirements.
