About CSCipher

CSCipher is a file encryption and decryption utility that was designed to be as intuitive and easy to use as possible with only the necessary features being implemented. File encryption is accomplished using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) symmetric encryption algorithm that uses a 256-bit key that encrypts your document to keep it safe & secure. Once selecting a document to encrypt, that document is duplicated, secret password protected, encrypted and then placed inside of the Encrypted Files List. The original document is left in place but can be safely deleted (If you forget your password, there is no way to recover your original document so please keep this in mind). To decrypt the encrypted file, simply press the new encrypted file inside of the Encrypted Files List and an options box will appear, select decrypt, apply the secret encryption password you added during encryption, select the destination where the decrypted file will be exported to, then press decrypt - Done!, your decrypted file will now be in the selected location. CSCipher comes with a 7 day fully functional trial, after which can be trial unlocked by purchasing (in app).

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

• Email Addresses: You can contact us using the in-app feedback option found in the preferences section or by sending an email to csc_cyprus@proton.me. We use your email to communicate with you in regards to the issue. After the issue has been resolved we will immediately delete your email address. We will not collect, store or share your information to any third parties.

• In-App Purchases: All purchase transactions are handled directly and securely by the Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details (such as credit card numbers). To unlock the full features of CSCipher after the 7 day trial period has ended, you can make an in-app purchase. After the purchase, Google Play provides our app with a confirmation (like a purchase token) that allows us to verify your entitlement with Google Play's services and unlock the features for you. This verification happens when you use the app to ensure continued access to purchased content.

• Absolutely no other information is collected/stored by us or shared to any third parties.

Children's Privacy

• CSCipher does not address anyone under the age of 13. Absolutely no personal information is collected from children through our app.

We may update the Privacy Policy from time to time, we will notify you from within the app of any changes.
