Brianna, Ryan and I share similar interest in Korean songs, specifically their's being KPOP while mine being both KPOP and Koren R&B artists such as oceanfromtheblue, GEMINI, DPR Live, etc.
A common trend among most students is everyone's collective interest in videogames, whether that be RPGs or FPS. I also noticed that other students like MMORPG games just like me, such as Akash and Vivian. I spend way too many hours on Genshin Impact; I need to touch grass.
Finally, I found that many students consume media through pretty much the same apps I use Nathan and I both use Spotify, SnapChat, Linkedin, etc. Emily and I both use Reddit and TikTok. I like to music on Spotify, take pictures on SnapChat, network on LinkedIn, look at Reddit posts, and keep up with friends on Discord servers.
Takeaways
I have noticed that most people went into great detail on the type of media they consume, the device they use, the apps they use, and the specific artists, videogames, etc., they consume. I would revise my media categorization by listing specific artists I listen to, shows I watch, etc. as well as list out specific niche apps that I use such as Viki which I forgot to mention. One student categorized media based on audio/visual, audio only, or visual only. Many people categorized media based off of the device they used and branched out, which I would do if I went back in time. In general, I would add more details about the specific media I consume, and categorize my media based on devices.
