What are the effects of various virtual private network (VPN) applications on various online games (dedicated server and peer-to-peer). Do VPNs decrease/increase latency? Do they decrease/increase packet loss? Also, what are the effects of various applications that claim to improve latency?
The above questions are what we hope to answer in our project on the effects of VPN clients on online gaming. This website is intended to showcase all relevant documents and items produced from the project. This site has been built as part of the project requirement in CSC 466, and is maintained by its students Ryan Samarajeewa, Tristan Hughes, Dhaimil Modi, and Jack Player.
