How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want an all-round sport and everyday pair with bigger drivers, longer single-charge stamina and serious water resistance, choose Csasan Earbuds; if you need a featherweight, low-profile set built specifically for side sleeping with a far bigger total battery reserve, choose Piluyaa Sleep Earbuds.
• Csasan Earbuds — biggest strength: 13mm composite drivers with AAC codec, ENC dual-mic call noise reduction, IP7 waterproofing and 40 hours of total playtime from a 1.5-hour charge cycle.
• Csasan Earbuds — biggest trade-off: They're a full-size in-ear sport bud at 0.1 kg for the set, so they're not designed to disappear into your ear overnight.
• Piluyaa Sleep Earbuds — biggest strength: 3.0g per bud with a shape refined for side sleepers, plus 58 hours of total playtime from the case and Bluetooth 5.4.
• Piluyaa Sleep Earbuds — biggest trade-off: The 10mm drivers are smaller, the playtime per charge is shorter (5–7 hours vs 6–8) and there's no IP rating listed, so sweat and rain aren't their territory.
• Who each pick is for: Csasan for running, gym, commuting and calls; Piluyaa for sleeping, lying on your side and quiet all-night listening.
The Csasan Earbuds (model J90 Pro) are built around sound and stamina first. You get 13mm dynamic drivers with a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz frequency range and AAC codec support, which is a genuinely large driver for this class of in-ear bud — bigger diaphragms usually mean more low-end presence and a fuller stereo image. On top of that, dual ENC mics passively cancel around 80% of background noise on calls, so you sound clearer in a noisy street or a busy office.
Battery is the other headline. A single 1.5-hour charge gives 6–8 hours of playback, and the case adds four more charges for a 40-hour total. The LED digital display on the case shows the remaining power of both the buds and the case itself, which removes the usual guessing game. Bluetooth 5.3 handles pairing — open the case and they auto-connect to your last device — and the range is listed at 10 meters.
The durability story is where they pull ahead for active use. IP7 nano-coating seals both the outer surface and the internals against sweat, rain and airborne moisture, which is why Csasan positions them for running, yoga and cycling. You also get three ear tip sizes (S/M/L), touch controls on both buds for playback, volume and calls, and each earbud can be used independently as a single Bluetooth headset — handy if you want one ear free.
Buy these if you want one pair that covers workouts, commutes and calls, and you value a long single-charge session plus real water resistance. Skip them if your main use is falling asleep on your side — the ergonomics here are aimed at a secure sport fit, not at lying on your ear all night.
The Piluyaa Sleep Earbuds (model M51-WHITE) are designed around one job: being barely there. Each bud weighs just 3.0g, and the shape was repeatedly refined to hug the inner curve of your ear so it stays stable when you're lying on your side. That's the whole point of a "mini invisible earplug" style — you're meant to forget you're wearing them. The compact case slips into a pocket, and the buds are white with a plastic enclosure.
Battery is where they surprise you. The buds themselves run 5–7 hours per charge, but the case carries a claimed 58 hours total, and an LED digital display shows the case's charging status and remaining power. Type-C fast charging keeps the top-ups quick, with a 1.5-hour charge time. Bluetooth 5.4 is the newer standard here, giving a rock-solid link up to 12 meters and auto-reconnect the moment you open the lid.
Audio is handled by 10mm dynamic drivers with a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz range and 16 ohm impedance, tuned for dynamic treble and punchy bass. There are built-in mics for calls, and the buds adjust noise handling and sound quality automatically. Noise control is listed as sound isolation rather than active cancellation, and the brand is refreshingly upfront that the plastic build may feel less comfortable for some people during very extended wear — worth knowing before you commit.
Buy these if you're a side sleeper, a light sleeper, or someone who wants near-invisible buds for podcasts and quiet listening in bed. Skip them if you plan to sweat heavily in them or need a listed waterproof rating — there isn't one here, and the smaller drivers won't match a 13mm setup for raw output.
• Best for sleep and side sleeping → Piluyaa Sleep Earbuds. 3.0g per bud and a shape refined specifically for lying on your ear.

• Best single-charge session → Csasan Earbuds. 6–8 hours per charge versus 5–7 on the Piluyaa.
• Best for calls in noisy places → Csasan Earbuds. Dual ENC mics that passively cut roughly 80% of background noise.
• Most current Bluetooth → Piluyaa Sleep Earbuds. Bluetooth 5.4 with a 12m range, versus 5.3 and 10m on the Csasan.
• Best for bigger, fuller sound → Csasan Earbuds. 13mm composite drivers with AAC codec support, against 10mm drivers on the Piluyaa.

In my opinion, the Piluyaa Sleep Earbuds are the better buy if sleep is your actual problem — the 3.0g weight, the side-sleeper shape and the 58-hour case are a coherent package aimed at one specific job, and nothing about the Csasan is designed for a pillow. But if you want a single pair for the gym, the commute and calls, I'd take the Csasan Earbuds: bigger 13mm drivers, IP7 protection and 6–8 hours per charge are simply more useful day to day. Buy for the job you actually have, not the one you imagine.
Piluyaa, clearly. Each bud weighs 3.0g and the shape was refined to hug your ear's inner curve while lying on your side. The Csasan is a sport-fit in-ear bud with a pressure-dispersing earplug design — comfortable, but not built for a pillow.
They list sound isolation rather than active noise cancellation, which means they physically block some ambient sound rather than cancelling it electronically. The Csasan uses environmental noise cancellation on calls via dual ENC mics. Neither is a full ANC over-ear replacement.
It depends how you measure it. Csasan wins per charge at 6–8 hours versus Piluyaa's 5–7. Piluyaa wins on total reserve at 58 hours from the case versus 40 hours on the Csasan. Both take about 1.5 hours to charge.
I don't quote prices here because they change constantly — use the price button on this page to check both on Amazon. Value really comes down to use case: Csasan gives you bigger drivers and IP7 waterproofing, Piluyaa gives you sleep-specific comfort and a much larger total battery reserve.
