The survey consist of two modules. Each module will take roughly 20 minutes to complete depending on your knowledge and whether you have to look up information or enlist the help of others.

This will depend on the organizational structure of your institution. We believe the Title IX coordinator is a good place to start due to their knowledge of and relationships with human resources, general counsel, public safety, student affairs, etc.

Preparedness for trauma-informed responses to sexual assault is not advanced universally across U.S. institutions of higher education. The long-term goal of this study is to support the development of policies, protocols, trainings, and interventions to strengthen trauma-informed responses to sexual assault by campus public safety agencies in partnership with campus health and wellness centers, as well as with local partners, i.e., law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and health and victim service providers. To achieve this goal, we are collecting nationally representative survey and local qualitative data on campuses’ public safety and health center approaches to sexual assault within the college or university community. This is a much needed, first-of-its-kind study.

Further, IACLEA and ACHA will use the project results to refine best practice guidelines and accreditation standards.
