I am a PhD candidate in the Computer Science department at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My research is in data visualization and human computer interaction, with a particular focus on visualizing large biological datasets.

Ankur Naqib

I am a Phd candidate in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I work on Next-Gen Sequencing projects, QIIME & open source bioinformatics tools. My work has keen interest in bioinformatics, R, Python and UNIX based environment shell scripting.

Derek Reiman

I am a PhD candidate in the Bioinformatics section of the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My research focuses on applying deep learning methods to study metagenomic data as well as functional metabolic networks and gene regulatory networks.
