Hurricane Map for Atlantic and Pacific
Hurricane Map for Atlantic and Pacific
1) If the user chooses the option "Current Season" for Atlantic or Pacific Map then all the Hurricanes for that Season are displayed along with their paths
2)If the user chooses the option "All" for either the Atlantic or Pacific Map then all the hurricanes for their respective map are shown
3)If the user chooses the option "Year" on either map, the user then has the option of selecting a year and all the hurricanes for that year will appear on the map.
4)If the user chooses the option 'Individual" on either map, another drop-down menu will appear where the user can pick a specific hurricane to be shown.
5)If the user chooses the option "Top 10" on either map , the map will display the top 10 hurricanes for their respective regions.
6)If the user chooses the option "Max Wind Speed" on either map, the map will display the hurricane(s) with the highest value of "Max Wind Speed".
7)If the user chooses the option "Minimum Pressure" on either map, the map will display the hurricane(s) with the lowest value of "Minimum Pressure".

1)If the user chooses the option "Chronologically" on either list, the list will be ordered chronologically by the time a hurricane appeared.
2)If the user chooses the option "Alphabetically" on either list, the list will be ordered alphabetically by hurricane name.
3)If the user chooses the option "Max Wind Speed" on either list, the list will be ordered in descending ordered by the value "Max Wind Speed".
4)If the user chooses the option "Minimum Pressure" on either list, the list will be ordered in ascending ordered by the value "Minimum Pressure".

The user has two options for showing the graphs for both the Atlantic and the Pacific:
1)The user can choose the option "Hurricane by Year" for both regions, a bar graph will then show up showing the number of hurricanes that occurred throughout the years.
2)The user can choose the option "Hurricane by Status" for both regions, a bar graph will then show up showing the occurrences for all the hurricanes throughout the years.

Three line plots that display the Max Wind Speed are available. Two of the line plots the user can pick a year to show the max wind speed for hurricanes for their respective region. The line plot in the middle shows both line plots from each region combined so the user can compare and contrast easier.

Three line plots display the Minimum Pressure for both regions. The user can filter the line plots by year and get the hurricanes with minimum pressure for their respective region. The line plot in the middle shows both line plots from each region combined so the user can compare and contrast easier.
