Maker's Intentions

Baymax inspired by Carnegie Mellon's soft robotics.

Big Hero 6 original comic found by producers after Disney acquired Marvel in 2009. Director Don Hall found the old comic while scrolling through a Marvel Database and it all went from there. 

San Fransokyo came into existance as a combination of San Fransisco (for its iconic look and topology) and Tokyo (for its asthetics and its the setting of the original comic). This creates a blend of eastern and western design.
