CS2KZ respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the CS2KZ mobile application.

CS2KZ is a companion app for the CS2KZ game mode, allowing players to browse servers, maps, leaderboards, and records.

CS2KZ collects minimal information. The only personal data we access is through Steam authentication.

Steam Login When you sign in with Steam, we receive and store locally on your device:

Your Steam display name
Your Steam ID
Your Steam profile URL
Your Steam avatar URL

This information is used solely to display your profile within the app and is never transmitted to our servers.

Session Cookie A session cookie provided by the CS2KZ API (cs2kz.org) is stored locally on your device to keep you signed in. This cookie is managed by the CS2KZ backend and is subject to their terms.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Location data
Device identifiers
Usage statistics or analytics
Crash logs
Payment information
Any data to our own servers

How We Use Your Information

The Steam profile information retrieved during login is used only to:

Display your name and avatar in the app
Show your personal stats and records from the CS2KZ API
Update your home screen widget with your rating

Third-Party Services

CS2KZ communicates with the following third-party services:

cs2kz.org API — game data including maps, servers, leaderboards, and player records
Steam (Valve) — authentication via Steam OpenID
Steam Workshop API — map thumbnail images

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Data Storage

All authentication data (Steam session) is stored locally on your device using secure device storage. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your personal information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties.

Children's Privacy

CS2KZ is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

You may remove all locally stored data at any time by signing out of the app or uninstalling it.
