EPA Air Quality Index Data Page

Our data was provided for free by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and its page that includes a large amount of downloadable datasets.

This page contains descriptions of data but we will provide a brief explanation.

• Our main data sets include the Yearly County datasets for each provided year
• Sites datasets for county locations provided on maps
• Daily Data for our daily tab page that further broke down the yearly data

We used R and Shiny to read the downloaded csv's and we created large data frames which we filtered accordingly with the application controls to provide visualizations of the csv data. We used and thank the following libraries for allowing us to visualize our data and create the project.
