Crystal's Closet does not currently operate as a business entity nor do we have non-profit status. We are not sponsered, nor are we affiliated with any groups or institutions. We are independently run by a private citizen and supported through clothing donations, the generosity of the Cushing Community Center, volunteer power, and shoppers like YOU!
Wanna volunteer with us? Fill this out!
We are located on the upper level of the Cushing Community Center in Cushing, Wisconsin. We have a separate driveway off of 240th St. next to Wreck-A-Mended Auto and we share a building with the Sterling Eureka and Laketown Historical Society (SELHS).
You can find us on google maps.
Our driveway is a downhill gravel road and the building is not visible from the top. Trust me, we are down there.
We share the upper level of the Cushing Community Center with the Sterling Eureka and Laketown Historical Society (SELHS). SELHS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit started in 2000, and Russ Hanson and friends have been preserving local history for 26 years. They've curated an impressive collection that you have got to see for yourself!
The museum is open regularly from 10am-2pm every Monday (except holidays). Check out the SELHS website and Facebook page to learn more about them and their other projects, like the famous River Road Ramble.
Crystal Becker is the namesake of Crystal's Closet, originally created by Shaila Anderson Johnson.
For allowing Crystal's Closet to exist in their space. Without their generosity we would not be able to exist.
If you love shopping for free clothing at Crystal's Closet and want to give back, consider making a donation directly to the Cushing Community Center.
Checks can be made out to "Cushing Community Center," and mailed to P.O. Box 513 Cushing, Wi 54006
You can also support them by renting their space for your next event. They can host events like weddings, showers, birthdays, benefits, funerals, and meeting space. Follow them on Facebook!
