Hey there! 

I’m Crystal Andrea Dsouza, a data enthusiast who loves turning raw numbers into meaningful stories. I believe data becomes powerful only when it’s organised, visualised, and interpreted with purpose. That’s what first drew me into analytics and still motivates me every day.

Over time, I’ve built a strong foundation in tools like Power BI, Excel, and Tableau Desktop, earning certifications that helped me move from learning to applying analytics in real projects. I’ve created interactive dashboards, led training sessions, and worked on projects that connect data insights to business outcomes.

Outside academics, I founded DataFam Mumbai, a growing community where students and professionals come together to learn, share, and collaborate on all things data. I also serve as an Ambassador for FP20 Analytics, representing a global network of data learners.

One highlight I’m especially proud of was being invited by my college trustee to teach Power BI to Master’s students, an experience that reinforced my love for sharing knowledge and simplifying complex ideas.

Every project I take on, whether it’s a dashboard, a workshop, or a community initiative, is driven by one goal: helping people see the story behind the data.

"I recently taught a course ‘The Art of Mathematics’ where Crystal was a student. The lectures started at 7 am, and Crystal would be there for every lecture, 20 minutes early after a long travel through the Mumbai rail network. Her dedication is really unmatched. She has good analytical skills, and used these lectures to improve them greatly. She enjoyed the logical reasoning and analytical puzzles taken up in class and always participated. 

As I got to know her more, I found her keen interest in Business Analytics and she has made it a point to learn Power BI and other skills outside of her regular curriculum. Though this year she was not her Class Representative, she was always ready to step up and fill in the gap when necessary. I would highly recommend her for any post as a very dedicated, analytical person with a good human touch."
