Crystal Cove commission Terms of Service (ToS)
General Information
By commissioning me (the artist), you (the client/commissioner) agree to the terms outlined below.
These terms may be updated at any time; the version in effect at the time your commission is confirmed will apply.
All artwork is for personal use only unless a separate commercial agreement is made.
Commissions are accepted via direct messages on any of my public platforms or through my provided Gmail.
Discord is my preferred method of communication.
Please provide clear references, descriptions, and any important details upfront.
Responses may take up to 1–2 days due to workload or time zones. If you have not received a response after 2 days, you may send a follow-up message.
All prices are listed in USD and are based on the selected style and size.
Optional Add-Ons:
Backgrounds: +20%
Additional Characters: +50% per character
Additional Objects: +15%
NSFW: +25%
I will confirm the final price and any applicable add-ons before starting.
Payment is required 50% upfront and 50% upon completion.
For commissions over $100, new clients may be required to pay 70% upfront.
Accepted payment methods: PayPal or Venmo.
Rush fees will be discussed if applicable.
Full refunds are only available if work has not started.
Partial refunds are based on progress (e.g., 30% completed = 70% refunded).
No refunds are available once the artwork is completed.
Estimated completion time varies depending on complexity and queue position and will be discussed upfront.
Progress updates will be provided at key stages:
Sketch
Lineart
Base colors
Rendering
Minor revisions are allowed at each stage.
Major revisions requested after sketch approval (such as adding characters or objects) may result in additional fees.
You may use the commissioned artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes, including:
Profile pictures
Wallpapers
Character references
Posting on social media
You may not:
Claim the artwork as your own
Edit or alter the artwork without permission
Credit is not required but is highly appreciated. If posting publicly, please link my Linktree or socials:

I retain full copyright and ownership of the artwork unless otherwise agreed.
I may share the artwork on my portfolio, social media, or for promotional purposes unless you request privacy.
I will never resell your commissioned artwork and will credit you as the commissioner if posted.
Commercial use of commissioned artwork requires an additional fee and must be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
Small Commercial License (+75%)
For branding, Twitch/YouTube assets, social media use, and limited print runs under 500 units.
Standard Commercial License (+100%)
For merchandise, digital products, online shops, and resale.
Extended Commercial License (+200% or more)
For large-scale production, companies, games, publishing, or mass distribution.
Commercial rights are not included by default and are only granted after full payment.
If you would like any of your commissioned pieces made into physical items (such as prints or stickers), please let me know during or after the commission process.

Pricing and production are handled through the shop.
I reserve the right to decline or cancel any commission for any reason.
If I cancel a commission, a refund will be issued based on completed work.
I do not accept offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate requests. I will not create artwork that conflicts with my morals or beliefs.
Final artwork is delivered digitally in PNG format unless otherwise requested.
Physical copies are not included unless specifically ordered through my shop.
The artwork may not be used for:
NFTs or blockchain-related projects
AI training or machine learning datasets
By commissioning me, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
