Crypto.com Login Issues

Crypto.com Login Issues
These are the most likely reasons why you might not be able to log in to your Crypto.com account even though you were able to open the app:
Your Username or Password is Wrong
In this case, Crypto.com will let you know, and all you need to do is try again. Try not to type your credentials too many times if this doesn't work. You can change your password or other account information instead.
A Login Authorization Issue
If you have entered your username and password accurately but are still unable to access your Crypto.com account, there may be an additional logon authorization issue. To resolve this issue, it is advisable to contact the Crypto.com support staff and await their response.
(On Exchange Web) Password Reset:
Having any issues when you open your account? The steps below show you how you can reset your password.
Open your account on the Crypto.com Exchange by logging in.
Navigate to the Dashboard and select "Settings."
Select Account Password & 2FA from the Security tab.
A reminder prompt will be sent to you to inform you that the password modifications will also be applied to sub-accounts that utilize the master account credentials. Select "Continue."
Please provide the following information:
The current password
Create a new password that satisfies the security conditions.
2-factor authentication code
Upon completion, your new password will be documented in your account's security history. You will also be disconnected from other platforms.
(On Exchange App) Password Reset:
Sign in to your account on Crypto.com Exchange.
To change the security, go to Home > Settings > Security.
Click on "General" and then "Change Password."
Input the following details:
Current Password New Password (make sure it fits the security criteria).
2FA Code
Your account security records will be updated with your new password as soon as it's finished. Additionally, you will lose your access to other websites and apps.
You Forgot Your Password? On Exchange Web
Type crypto.com/exchange into your browser and click the "LogIn" button in the top right corner.
Select You forgot your password
Type in your Exchange email address and click "Submit.
An email will be sent to the address you gave. Check your email to get the link.
Go to your email and click on the link in it. This will take you to a page where you can set a password.
Type in a new password and click "Change my password."
Use the new password you made to log in to the Exchange.
You Forgot Your Password? On Exchange App
Go to settings/trade/wallets in the exchange app and click the "LogIn" button.
Select Forgot your password?
Entering in your Exchange email address and clicking "Submit" will do it.
You'll get an email at the address you provided. Find the link in your email.
You can set a password by clicking on the link in your email.
Press the "Reset Password" button after making a new encrypted password.
Use the new password you made to access the Exchange.
How To Reset My Crypto.com 2FA?
Crypto.com puts a lot of thought into security, so the site has built in a lot of safety features to help users keep their money safe. You can set up MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) and whitelisting, but the site also highly suggests that users set up a strong password to make their accounts even safer.
Here are the steps you need to take to change your 2FA:
To set up two-factor authentication, go to the main menu and select Settings. Then, tap Security.
At the bottom of the screen, tap the box that says "Reset 2FA."
Check to see if you can still access your current 2FA passwords.
If you still have your 2FA keys, enter your password and the 2FA code, and then do the rest of the steps below:
Make a new account for the Crypto.com App* in your authenticator app.
Use your authenticator app to scan the code that is shown, or copy and paste it by hand.
If you can't find your 2FA keys, you will need to provide your password, verify your name, or contact Crypto.com directly. Follow steps 4(a) and 4(b) above to set up your 2FA after you've been verified.
