This privacy policy governs you (the "User") in regards to your use of the software application Crypto Buddy (the "Application") for mobile devices.
The User must read and agree to this entire document before using, requesting the use of, or attempting to use, the Application.
Camera Data
Certain functionality in the Application may request and require the use of the User's mobile device's camera. By using such functionality, requesting the use of such functionality, or attempting to use such functionality, the User agrees to allow the Application to use the mobile device's camera to obtain visual data.
Specifically, the Application may analyze any visual data provided by the camera to obtain derived text-based information, including but not limited to QR code text. This derived text may be used and stored by the Application, but the Application does not store any visual data provided to it.
Cryptocurrency Data
Cryptocurrency data is text-based data provided to the Application that includes but is not limited to the following:
Crypto Addresses
Crypto Names
Crypto Networks
Crypto Symbols
Crypto Quantities
Crypto Transactions, including specific dates, assets, quantities, networks, and blockchains that such transaction involved.
Note that such Crypto transactions may be either real or hypothetical.
Such data may be provided to the Application through multiple methods, including but not limited to the following:
Manually being provided by the User.
Derived from visual data provided by the User's mobile device's camera.
An example of this may be the User providing an image of a QR code, and the Application deriving from that image the QR code text.
Accessed by using other data that has previously been provided to the Application.
An example of this may be using a Crypto address that the User provided to obtain the Crypto transactions that have taken place involving that Crypto address.
Data Use and Storage
By using this Application, the User agrees to allow the Application to use and store any provided data, in any manners reasonably necessary to provide explicitly presented functionality to the User.
Opt-Out Rights
The user may uninstall the Application, through the standard means of removing an app from their mobile device, to remove all data stored within the Application.
The User is responsible for deleting any data that they have caused to be stored external to the Application. This includes data that the User has requested the Application to store outside of itself.
