From Kaimganj to the Studio:
My name is Prashant Singh. Born on January 9th in Kaimganj, my early story is probably similar to many: a steady student who always hovered comfortably in the 70–90% range. Like a lot of kids growing up with limited exposure to creative industries, I didn’t even know "Sound Engineering" or audio development were real career paths. So, I followed the traditional route. I cleared the JEE cutoff, secured one of the top ranks in my branch, and enrolled in B.Tech for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at AKGEC in Ghaziabad.
The Pivot & The Principle:
It was only after arriving at college that I discovered the massive, dedicated domains of audio technology and music production. Realizing I was sitting in an engineering class when my true passion was sound was a heavy moment. I seriously considered dropping out. But if there is one thing I’ve learned about myself, it’s that I don't back down from a commitment. I am not a coward, and I don't break my principles. I made a vow to finish what I started. I am currently in my 6th semester, maintaining a solid 7.5+ SGPA, and I am fully committed to seeing this degree through.
Becoming CRYPARC:
Outside of lectures, my real work begins. Operating under my professional aliases CRYPARC and DJ PSDON, I have been obsessively producing music since late 2021. I found my signature sound in high-energy genres like Drill, Trap, and Phonk. To date, I've produced over 170 tracks, including 23 ghost-produced records for other artists. My collaborative releases have proudly crossed 19K+ streams on Spotify alone. I am constantly pushing my limits—currently, I am in the middle of a rigorous challenge to produce 100 tracks between January and May of this year.
The Intersection of Art & Science:
Ultimately, my engineering background became my superpower. I didn’t just want to make beats; I wanted to understand the fundamental science of sound. I have heavily invested in the technical side of the industry, mastering the intricate art of mixing and currently diving deep into professional mastering.
That technical curiosity is also what drove me to learn C++ and the JUCE framework. I wanted to build the very tools that producers use, which led to the creation and release of my own custom saturation VST plugin, BananaSat.
What's Next?:
My next major target is conquering advanced sound design. I am always hungry to learn, build, and create. Whether it is a heavy beat, a pristine mix, or a line of DSP code, I give it everything I have. I am actively looking for new collaborations and projects. If you resonate with this journey, let's work together.
