Carolyn was born into a USAF military family at a time when life was simple. The oldest of two children she grew up in many places around the world. At the age of fourteen her family landed in eastern NC, where she was introduced to romance novels. She was always faithful to write in her daily diary. Today she continues to journal memories, as well as her dreams and wishes. She recently found a children’s short story she wrote when she was younger, inspiring her to start a novel, and here we are. Widowed after 42 years, she is still a dreamer and believes in true love, and this inspired her to embark on her first novel. At home she spends her time with her two adult sons and her three perfect grandbabies. She has two four legged children who are her constant companions. Now retired she spends a lot of time in a 60-year-old beach trailer. Surrounding herself by bright colors and solitude, she is free to allow her dreams to take shape. The salt air allows her to journey through the pages effortlessly.
