No account. No sign-in. No personal information is collected by Crutchfield from you as an app user. We use Google AdMob to show advertisements — banner ads and full-screen interstitial ads — which is the only third-party advertising service integrated into this app. Your cart, saved items, addresses, payment labels, recent searches, and order history are stored locally on your device. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Crutchfield is built to help you browse electronics, car audio, headphones, TVs, home audio, and accessories with confidence. We designed this app so you can shop the catalog, search products, view product details, manage your cart, save items, check out, and review orders without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:

• Your name

• Your phone number

• Your email address

• Your home or mailing address

• Your date of birth

• Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

• Photos, contacts, or camera data

• Precise GPS location

No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

To power your shopping experience, Crutchfield stores the following locally on your device only:

• Shopping cart items and quantities

• Saved / favorite products

• Recent search terms and filter or sort preferences

• Shipping addresses you enter in checkout

• Payment method labels you save (such as card brand and last four digits)

• Local order history, order numbers, and delivery estimates generated in the app

• App settings (such as notification and deals preferences)

This information is not uploaded to our servers and is not linked to your identity as an app user. Product selections and checkout details you enter are records you choose to keep on your device — we do not receive them as personal user profile data.

4. Catalog, Cart, and Offline Use

Core shopping features — including Home, Categories, Search, Product Details, Cart, Checkout, Order Confirmation, Saved Items, and Profile — run on your device. An internet connection is required to load product images and to load advertisements through Google AdMob. Your cart, saved items, and order records are not sent to our servers.

5. Orders and Checkout

When you place an order in the app, the order number, items, totals, delivery option, and estimated delivery are stored locally so you can view them in My Orders. We do not receive copies of your checkout details unless you explicitly send them to us. You are responsible for keeping any order summaries you share outside the app secure.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements inside Crutchfield. AdMob is a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC, and it is the only third-party advertising service integrated into this app.

Types of ads shown:

• Banner ads — displayed on app screens while you browse

• Interstitial ads — a full-screen ad may be shown when you tap a product, category, cart action, or other item in the app. After the ad is closed or skipped, the app continues

To serve ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process:

• Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)

• General device information (device model, OS version, language, screen size)

• Coarse, non-precise location derived from your IP address

• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and views)

• App activity related to ad delivery

This information is collected by Google and its partners, not directly by us. It is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and ad policies. You can control personalized advertising on your device at any time:

From there you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. Google AdMob uses SDK-level identifiers and similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud prevention, as described in the Advertising section above. We do not operate our own cross-app tracking or analytics SDK separate from AdMob.

8. Network and Permissions

The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:

• Internet access — required to load product images and advertisements

• Network state — required for reliable ad and image delivery

• Advertising ID (Android 13+) — used by Google AdMob when ads are enabled

We do not request access to contacts, photos, camera, calendar, SMS, microphone, biometrics, or precise location.

9. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials from you as an app user, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers. Your cart, saved items, addresses, and order history remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app. Ad-related data is handled by Google's secure ad infrastructure according to their policies.

10. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for general electronics shopping and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Google AdMob may serve non-personalized ads in accordance with applicable laws and your device settings.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information about you as an app user, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:

Settings → Apps → Crutchfield → Storage → Clear storage

For ad-related choices:

• Use Android Settings → Privacy → Ads to manage your advertising ID and personalization

• Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data and stops in-app ad delivery

12. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
