Our Story

Crustys Quarry is owned and operated by Scott Camerlo. Scott started diving in 1977 and entered as his full time career in 1979. Diving has been his full time career in Western Pennsylvania since that time. Scott has been able to achieve titles such as: Master Instructor, Master Repair Technician, Commercial Diver, US Coast Guard Master Captain, and many more.  He eventually opened Scott's Scuba Service in Freeport PA, which has been a top 10% rank PADI 5-star IDC facility since the 1990's. Scott owned and operated Scott's Scuba Service from 1992-2018. The Camerlo's purchased and opened Crustys Quarry in 1999. Crustys has been primarily used as a private training facility until 2019 when Scott decided to open Crustys commercially to the diving community.
