Rita Wandrag
I am a dedicated estate agent based in Windhoek, Namibia, and co-owner of CR Realtors. Real estate is more than just a career for me — it is a passion. I believe in meaningful connections, transparent communication, and guiding every client with respect and care through one of the most important decisions of their lives.
What values do you cherish the most?
The values I hold most dear are:
Integrity, hard work, fairness, loyalty, respect, and excellent service.
These principles form the foundation of my work. I believe true success isn’t measured only in transactions, but in the trust clients place in me, and the positive difference I make in their lives.
What are your views on the current housing challenges and potential solutions in Namibia?
I dream of a fair, accessible, and sustainable housing market in Namibia — one where everyone, regardless of income level, has the opportunity to live in a safe, dignified home.
I hope for a system that is transparent, where integrity and balance matter more than profit. A market where hardworking people are rewarded with long-term security and happiness in their homes, simply because they show loyalty and dedication.
Solutions begin with collaboration — between government, developers, and communities — and through greater access to financing, better housing education, and smart, people-centered urban planning.
I believe every Namibian deserves a home that reflects their dignity.
Why are you passionate about being an estate agent?
For me, it’s about more than just walls and a roof — it’s about the feeling of coming home and having security.
I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, honesty, and genuine care — especially when making such an important decision. I love getting to know people, listening to their stories, and working alongside them to find the right solution.
Every client is different. Every day brings something new. And that keeps me motivated.
I feel truly proud when I know I’ve made a difference — even if it’s just reassuring someone, or helping them close a good deal.
This work gives me more than an income — it gives me meaning.

I find that what truly defines a person isn't just what they do, but the way they go about doing it. For me, that means approaching every new challenge with a sense of integrity and a deep respect for others. I truly believe a home is a place where life's most beautiful moments are made, and my greatest joy comes from helping people find that special place. It's a genuine thrill for me to see a client's dream become a reality. I'm a firm believer that by working together, we can make our community a better place, and I'm always looking for ways to contribute to that positive change.
What values do you cherish the most?
The values I cherish the most about myself is honesty and respect.
What are your views on the current housing challenges and potential solutions in Namibia?
My opinion about the housing challenges are because of the lack of availability in rental properties at the moment the prices are being set extremely high which are an big concern although the buyers market are amazing now and I am excited to see how we as an community can make the housing market extraordinary.
Why are you passionate about being an estate agent?
I love providing each and every client with not just an house but an home where they can built the most beautiful memories. Every time I seal an deal and I've done my best its a absolute bliss for me.

My name is Willemien Van der Vyver. I'm 62 years old and recently retired after dedicating 40 years of service to the City of Windhoek. My career has been a journey of learning, growth, and commitment to community service. Now that I’m retired, I enjoy spending time in nature, caring for animals, and engaging with people. I'm passionate about making a difference wherever I can, whether through volunteer work, sharing knowledge, or simply being a good listener.
What values do you cherish the most?
I deeply value integrity, kindness, and respect. I believe that treating others with compassion and honesty creates stronger, healthier communities. Having worked in public service for four decades, I also value loyalty, responsibility, and dedication. These are the principles that guided my career and continue to shape my life today.
What are your views on the current housing challenges and potential solutions in Namibia?
Housing is one of the most pressing challenges in Namibia. As someone who worked for the City of Windhoek, I’ve seen firsthand how rapid urban growth and economic discrepincies affect access to affordable housing. I believe that public-private partnerships, better urban planning, and investment in infrastructure are key to creating sustainable housing solutions. We also need to prioritize the needs of lower-income families and ensure that housing is not only affordable but also safe and dignified.
Why are you passionate about being an estate agent?
While I’m retired now, I remain deeply interested in the property world because homes are more than just buildings.... they’re where life happens. I love helping people, and I find joy in connecting individuals with spaces that suit their needs and dreams. Whether it's helping a family find their forever home or guiding someone through the process for the first time, being part of such an important life decision is incredibly rewarding.

What values do you cherish the most?
Honesty, respect, and accountability are central to how I work and how I relate to people. I value open communication, fairness, and doing what I say I will do. For me, trust is built through consistency, transparency, and genuine care.
What are your views on the current housing challenges and potential solutions in Namibia?
Housing affordability and access remain real challenges in Namibia. I believe meaningful progress will come through cooperation between the private sector, developers, and local authorities, along with more flexible and creative approaches to housing development and financing. Practical, sustainable solutions that serve ordinary Namibians are essential for long-term social and economic stability.

Real estate allows me to work closely with people during important moments in their lives. Whether someone is buying, selling, or investing, these decisions carry emotional and financial weight. Being able to guide clients with honesty, clarity, and care — while helping them build security for the future — is what makes this work meaningful to me.
