Crossroads Farms is excited to be offering raw milk to our surrounding communities. See our story below of how we have been involved in raw milk.

• 2019: It all began with Josie.... This Jersey/Guernsey cross was the first brood cow we ever purchased after getting married in 2019. 

• 2023: In Fall 2023, we began offering herd shares to local customers spanning from Elkins to Snowshoe.. (Legislation in 2016 in WV allowed the sale of raw milk and its products through herd shares.) We met some wonderful people through this experience who shared similar food values as we did.

• 2024: Raw milk legalized! On March 9th, House Bill 4911 passed that allowed West Virginians to purchase raw milk directly from farms in WV without joining a herdshare co-op!
