Timber wolfs

The timber wolf program is for children ages 8 to 10.

The Timber Wolves join in many games and practical activities based on the Jungle Book as written by B-P's friend Rudyard Kipling. Much of their learning is 'by doing'. The unit is known as a Timber Wolf Pack which is subdivided into Sixes. It is here that youth begin to have opportunities to lead with each Six led by a Sixer and assisted by their Second. Their motto is "Do Your Best".

The program is based on the Tenderpad to Second Star and begins to focus more on outdoor activities. As "New Chums" join they are invested, becoming Tenderpads. They then progress from First Star to Second Star with the highest award being the Leaping Wolf Badge.
