When we've been running around the same loop track for decades and come to an intersection,
it's time to think!
Crossroads-Opportunity hopes to do just that:
Get more people to recognise the alternative(s) to the -not so good- "only way we know"; to see that we've come to a junction, and to make informed decisions now, while we have the opportunity.
A note on language:
We believe that the content of the book is more important than the cover...
In order for Crossroads to be accessible to the greatest possible number, the language is purposely kept conversational on the main pages. This does not make our project any less serious.
More specific discussions are where the useful jargon comes into play.
Who we are ?
Crossroads is born from the work of a handful of people spread across the planet, who feel they have a duty to do something for their world and believe in team-work to achieve a better Tomorrow.
We share the view that the "normal" we knew before Covid-19 is not the best we, humans can do, far from it. We believe this "normal" is detrimental to people and that we are presented with an opportunity like we never had; an eye opener about what "normal" has come to mean.
We see a chance here, a time of Change whether we want it or not. And we would love for the world to use this momentum and steer itself towards a brighter future rather than passively accept the dark "after Covid" as inevitable.
We can do better, fairer, more humane. And we must do so, for ourselves, our families, communities and people on the other side of the world who we'll never meet and who don't have as much of a voice.
