• November 24, 2025: Notification of presentation acceptance were sent to submitters. Please check your spam filter if you have not received yours, or contact us if you did not receive one. 

• December 3, 2025: Registration link emailed to presenters and those who submitted to present.

• December 8, 2025: Deadline to register and confirm attendance for presenting author.

• December 18, 2025: Full convening program available at the conference website.

• January 7, 2026: General convening registration deadline (non presenters)

• Monday January 12, 2026: Presentation submission deadline

• Thursday January 15, 2026: Convening presentations in person in Washington D.C.

Crossroads will focus on bringing together transportation researchers, practitioners, and others working toward transportation equity and justice. 

• Presentations can be research or practice-oriented.

• Presentations must include a focus on transportation equity, mobility justice, or a closely related topic.

Examples include:

• Navigating political polarization and anti-DEI policies in the transportation context

• The changing landscape of transportation equity and justice work

• Insights from recently terminated transportation studies or projects

• Population- or community-specific transportation needs, impacts, or solutions (for example, Black and Brown, Indigenous, women, LGBTQ, people with disabilities, New Americans, etc.)

• Reparative planning

• Mobility justice

• Transportation and policing and/or immigration enforcement

• Community-centered project evaluations
