The 6th Grade Dance Party will take place on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm in the Crossfield gym/lobby/cafeteria. This beloved tradition dates back more than a decade.
Theme: Catch a Wave
Attire: Casual
Activities: Dancing, board games, P.E. games, and photo booth
Menu: Popcorn, Shaved Ice, Cotton Candy, other food TBD (Due to rising food costs, menu is TBD and will depend on contributions. Please check back later to see menu options and known allergies. To make sure enough allergy-friendly foods are purchased or requested for donation, please register your 6th grader using the Student Registration form. Previous dance parties included pizza, nachos, veggies, fruit, cake, popcorn, and shaved ice. )

Dropoff/Pickup procedures: Dropoff will begin at 6:20 pm. You will check your student into the party at the lobby by their classroom teacher. Parents will not be allowed past the drop off table in the lobby. Pickup will begin at 9:00 pm and parents will line up at the table in the lobby according to their classroom teacher to pick up their students. If another parent will be picking up your student, you must leave a signed, dated written note giving permission to release your student to name of non-parent at the check-in desk during student drop-off. We will not release your child to another parent without a note from you.
Chaperones: Parents from the Dance Party Committee and the Lead of the 6th Grade End of Year Events will be chaperoning the event. The Dance Party Committee is full. The need for additional chaperones is TBD. In the interest of student safety, no parents other than official chaperones will be allowed inside the building during the party.
