Welcome to the Crook County Recreation District

On behalf of the Board, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Crook County Recreation District.

The Crook County Recreation District (CCRD) was established by the Crook County School District #1 Board of Trustees in May 2025. Funding for the district comes from a recreation mill levy imposed pursuant to W.S. 18-9-201(b), which allows Wyoming communities to establish and support recreation districts.

Our mission is simple yet meaningful: to enhance the quality of life in our community by providing accessible, safe, and enriching recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.

As we continue developing our application system and forming the CCRD Subcommittee to guide community funding decisions, we encourage you to check our website regularly for updates.

As Chairman of the Board, I am proud of the dedication demonstrated by our volunteers and fellow board members. Their commitment ensures that our district continues to support community needs, and remain responsible stewards of public resources.
