The Croatian Schools in the USA platform was created to serve as a central hub for the vibrant Croatian-American community. Our mission is to support the preservation and promotion of the Croatian language, culture, and heritage for future generations.

We believe that by connecting independent community schools, we can provide a stronger, more unified network for parents, teachers, and students. This platform is a collaborative effort, built on the shared passion of many dedicated individuals who believe in the importance of our heritage.

Our Story

This website began as a simple idea: to make it easier for families to find a place where their children could learn Croatian. We realized that while many wonderful community schools exist, their information was scattered. By centralizing this information, we could help these schools grow and help new ones get started.

This is a project by the community, for the community. We are grateful for the support of all the schools and individuals who have contributed to making this a reality.

Andrea Katić Bruno Coordinator for Croatian Schools in the USA

Andrea Katić Bruno is the appointed Coordinator for Croatian Schools in the USA by the Ministry of Science, Education, and Youth. She holds a Master's degree in Croatian Language and Literature, a testament to her deep passion for the field. Her professional background includes a dedicated focus on Croatian language and cultural programs, where she has been involved in developing curricula and fostering community engagement. Her work is guided by the belief that a strong connection to one's heritage is vital, and she is committed to supporting the network of Croatian schools across the United States.
