Dr. MZ Abedin is a Senior Lecturer of Fintech & Financial Innovation at Teesside University International Business School, Teesside University, UK. At the moment, Dr. Abedin is working as a guest editor of Annals of Operations Research, IF 4.854, ABS-3* Journal.

Mohammad Zoynul Abedin received the B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees in Finance from the University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh. After that, Dr. Abedin earns Ph.D. in Investment Theory at Dalian University of Technology, China. Recently, Dr. Abedin was a post-doctoral employee at Dalian Maritime University, China. He contributes regularly to the top-tier peer-reviewed journals. He is the author of 70 research papers that includes full-length manuscripts, conference papers, and book chapters. Abedin's first edited book has been published by Taylor & Francis in June 2021. His working area is Fintech, Financial Data Analytics and Business Data Science.

Professor Petr Hajek, Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Petr Hajek is a Professor, Science and Research Centre, Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice, Pardubice, Czech Republic. Petr Hajek was born in Duchcov, Czech Republic, in 1980. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in economic policy and the Ph.D. degree in system engineering and informatics from the University of Pardubice, Pardubice, Czech Republic, in 2003 and 2006, respectively.

From 2006 to 2012, he was a Senior Lecturer with the Institute of System Engineering and Informatics. Since 2012, he has been an Associate Professor with the Science and Research Centre, Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice. He is the author of three books and more than 90 articles. His research interests include soft computing, machine learning, and economic modeling. He is an Associate Editor of four journals. He was a recipient of the Rector Award for Scientific Excellence in 2018 and 2019, respectively, and six Best Paper Awards at international scientific conferences.
