I am deeply invested in the idea that mathematics is for everyone. I highly value inclusiveness and collaboration, and I welcome any opportunity that advances this goal.  

Before joining UH Math, I was an undergraduate at Texas A&M University. There, I studied applied mathematics, statistics, and Leontief models of economic systems. I also participated in mathematics outreach through the TAMU Math Circle.  

In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, listening to music, watching and playing football, and playing with my cats. My favorite genres of music include rock, jazz, cumbia, and various pop genres, and my favorite football team is Club América of México.
