This Privacy Policy describes how Crionix Apps ("we," "us," or "our"), an independent group of developers based in Nice, France, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Calorie Assistant mobile application.
Data We Collect
We collect basic physical information (Age, Weight, Height, Sex) and nutritional logs (meals and food items) to provide calorie tracking and progress visualization.
Health Connect Integration
Calorie Assistant uses Google’s Health Connect to read steps and active energy burned. This data is used solely to adjust your daily calorie targets and is processed locally on your device. We do not sell or share your health data with third-party brokers.
AI Processing (Google Gemini)
When you use the food scanner, your photos are sent to Google’s Gemini AI service for analysis. These images are processed ephemerally and are not stored by Crionix Apps
Data Deletion
You can permanently delete all your local and cloud data by using the "Reset App Data" button in the app's settings menu. You may also request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at crionix.apps@gmail.com
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal or health data to third parties. We only share data with the following services to ensure app functionality:
Google Firebase: For secure data storage and authentication.
Google Play Billing: To process in-app purchases.
AdMob: To display advertisements (if applicable).
Everysight SDK: To enable communication with the Maverick HUD hardware.
Health Connect Policy Compliance
Our use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request permissions that are necessary to provide the app’s features.
