Crime and Corruption Workshop

The Institute for Economic Policies (IPE) at Andrés Bello University and the Becker-Friedman Institute Latin America (BFI) are pleased to announce a two-day Workshop on Crime and Corruption to be held on January 11-12, 2024 at Andrés Bello University, Santiago, Chile. This conference is aimed at assembling scholars from around the world to discuss recent work on issues involving the economics of crime and corruption with an emphasis on Latin America. We focused on the causes and consequences of crime and corruption and policies aimed at curbing crime and corruption. This is the first version of a yearly workshop on crime and corruption aimed at increasing our understanding of these phenomena.
