Welcome to Crime Radar. Crime Radar is designed to help users view crime-related information, area insights, safer route information, community radio content, and safety awareness features in a simple and useful way.
These Terms of Use explain how you can access and use the app and any related services we provide. By accessing or using Crime Radar, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
To use Crime Radar, you must be at least 13 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the app, you confirm that you are allowed to use the app and agree to these Terms.
If we have previously restricted or blocked your access to Crime Radar, you may not use the app again without our permission.
We grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, and revocable permission to use Crime Radar for personal and non commercial purposes, unless we provide written permission otherwise.
You agree to use the app responsibly and not misuse, copy, modify, interfere with, or attempt to damage any part of Crime Radar or its related services.
Crime Radar may display crime-related information, area alerts, safety insights, map-based data, pins, heatmaps, regional rates, or related information from available public and third-party sources. This information is provided for general awareness only.
We do not guarantee that the information shown in the app is always complete, accurate, current, available, or suitable for every situation. The presence or absence of crime information in an area does not confirm that the area is safe or unsafe.
Crime Radar is not a law enforcement service, emergency service, security service, or public safety authority. In an emergency or dangerous situation, you should contact local emergency services or the appropriate authority immediately.
Some features in Crime Radar may use your device location to show nearby crime information, map results, area-based alerts, or safer route information.
You are responsible for managing location permissions through your device settings. If location access is disabled, some features may not work properly.
The Safer Route feature provides an informational comparison of available routes based on crime data, incident information, and area-based safety signals available to the app.
A route shown as safer, lower risk, or recommended does not guarantee that the route is safe, risk-free, or safer in every situation. Crime risk can change quickly and may depend on events or conditions not shown in the app.
You are responsible for checking your surroundings, following local laws, and making your own safety decisions.
Crime Radar may allow you to create monitored areas and receive notifications based on available incident or location-related information.
Alerts and notifications are informational only. We do not guarantee that every relevant incident will trigger an alert, that alerts will be delivered immediately, or that notification information will always be complete or accurate.
You should not rely on Crime Radar alerts as your only way to protect yourself, your property, or others.
Crime Radar may show police, crime, incident, public-safety, or community radio related information collected from publicly available sources, official data providers, or third-party services.
Community Radio content, audio streams, feeds, titles, summaries, transcripts, or related information may be sourced from third-party services. Crime Radar does not control or guarantee the accuracy, availability, completeness, or timeliness of this content.
Third-party police, crime, and radio data remains owned and controlled by its original source or provider. Crime Radar does not claim ownership of third-party data and does not independently verify every record or feed shown in the app.
Crime Radar currently provides crime information in selected regions. For the UK and US, the app may show crime data using pins and heatmaps. For Canada, France, and Australia, the app may show regional crime rates.
Coverage, data format, availability, and update frequency may vary by location and depend on the available data sources.
Crime Radar may offer optional premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. Subscription pricing, duration, free trials, introductory offers, and available features are shown in the app at the time of purchase.
Payments and subscription management are handled through Apple’s App Store payment system. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple account settings before the renewal date.
Cancellation usually stops the next renewal but may not provide a refund for the current subscription period. Refunds are handled according to Apple’s applicable policies.
Where supported, Crime Radar may allow you to restore eligible previous purchases. Restoring purchases does not create a new purchase. Eligibility is determined through Apple’s purchase system and the subscription services used by the app.
You are responsible for how you use Crime Radar and any information shown in the app.
You agree not to use the app for unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or unauthorized purposes. You also agree not to use the app to harass, threaten, target, or harm any person or group.
You may not misrepresent information from Crime Radar as verified law enforcement information, interfere with the app’s systems, abuse location or notification features, use automated tools to overload the app, or attempt to bypass premium feature restrictions.
Crime Radar may include features, tools, content, maps, alerts, subscriptions, community radio content, or services that help improve the app experience. Some features may change, be updated, or be removed over time.
We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the app at any time to improve performance, security, reliability, or user experience.
Crime Radar may use, depend on, or link to third-party services, including public crime-data providers, mapping services, subscription services, analytics tools, crash reporting tools, and publicly available audio or dispatch services.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
All original content, features, designs, text, visuals, software, branding, graphics, and overall experience in Crime Radar are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the app or its content without our prior written permission. Third-party names, trademarks, data, and services remain the property of their respective owners.
Crime Radar is provided on an as is and as available basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, secure, error free, accurate, complete, or available at all times.
The information shown in the app is provided for general awareness and should not be used as the only basis for making safety, travel, legal, emergency, or personal security decisions.
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Crime Radar.
This includes any loss, damage, risk, decision, or action related to your use of the app, your reliance on crime or safety information, location or notification failures, third-party services, or subscription issues beyond our reasonable control.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, you agree to hold Crime Radar, its owners, developers, affiliates, and service providers harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using Crime Radar at any time by deleting the app from your device.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the app if we reasonably believe the app is being misused, used unlawfully, or used in violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time as Crime Radar changes or improves. When important updates are made, we will make the revised terms available in the app and update the Last Updated date.
We encourage you to review these Terms occasionally. Continued use of Crime Radar after any update means you agree to the revised Terms.
