How to Download and Set Up Cricut Design Space on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android 

Step 1: Visit the website

Open your preferred web browser and visit the website.

Select the download option for the desktop application.

Step 2: Download the installer

Allow the installer file to download to your computer. If your browser asks where to save it, choose a location you can easily find, such as your Downloads folder.

Step 3: Install the application

Open the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions. If Windows asks for permission to install the application, verify that you downloaded it from the Cricut website before proceeding.

Step 4: Launch Cricut Design Space

Once installation is complete, open Cricut Design Space from the Start menu or desktop shortcut, if available.

Step 5: Sign in or create an account

Sign in using your Cricut account. If you're new to Cricut, follow the prompts to create an account.

Step 6: Connect your Cricut machine

Turn on your compatible Cricut machine and connect it using a supported USB cable or Bluetooth connection. Follow the prompts in Design Space to complete machine setup.

Launch the application from your Applications folder. If macOS displays a security prompt, confirm that the app came from the official Cricut download.

Step 5: Sign in to your Cricut account

Enter your account details or create a new account if you haven't used Cricut before.

Step 6: Pair your Cricut machine

Turn on the machine and connect it through USB or Bluetooth, depending on your model. Follow the setup instructions displayed in the application.

You can now create designs and prepare compatible projects on your Mac.

Step 1: Open the App Store

Launch the Apple App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Search for Cricut Design Space

Enter “Cricut Design Space” in the search bar. Check that the app is published by Cricut before installing it.

Step 3: Install the app

Tap Get and authenticate with your Apple account if prompted.

Step 4: Open the application

Once the installation finishes, tap the app icon to launch Cricut Design Space.

Step 5: Sign in or create an account

Follow the instructions to sign in to your existing Cricut account or create a new one.

Step 6: Connect your Cricut machine

Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad and turn on your compatible Cricut machine. Follow the app's instructions to connect the machine and finish setup.

You can now explore available projects and create designs directly from your mobile device.

Step 1: Open Google Play Store

Launch the Play Store on your compatible Android phone or tablet.

Step 2: Search for the Cricut app

Search for “Cricut Design Space” and verify the publisher is Cricut.

Step 3: Tap Install

Allow the application to download and install on your device.

Step 4: Launch Cricut Design Space

Open the app after installation.

Step 5: Sign in to your account

Log in to your existing Cricut account or create a new one by following the prompts.

Step 6: Connect your cutting machine

Enable Bluetooth on your Android device, turn on your compatible Cricut machine, and follow the connection instructions in the app.

Once connected, you can begin working on supported Cricut projects.
