Besides these, I recently finished creating a stencil-based project for one of my clients. I used a simple stencil to etch my client’s glass in that project. They were specifically looking for a pro result because they wanted to describe these glasses to their employees. So, the first thing I’ll do is select a design for my stencil. I have a subscription to Cricut Access library, so I chose one stencil SVG file.

However, if you are making it for the first time, you can also make a simple stencil for trial, such as a letter, a short quote, or an illustration. In addition, you must ensure that your stencil elements are touching or connected. As a result, you can cut it as a whole.

• The next screen is the Make screen, where you must select Browse All Materials and click Stencil.

After following the steps mentioned above, you will be ready to cut stencil designs quickly. Ensure that you have installed the Fine-Point blade on the Cricut machine, and then click the blinking Go button to begin cutting.

Subsequent to cutting the design, you should unload the mat. Afterward, you will want to weed the design. I recommend you use a weeding tool only if required. Otherwise, stenciling with a simple design does not require weeding.

But what if your designs are intricate? No worries! You can use the weeding tool to remove the negative pieces from the stencil carefully. Once done, you are ready to apply and transfer the design to the desirable blank.
