Minimum System Requirements to Install Cricut Design Space

Before you learn about the Cricut install, I will show you the basic needs you need to check on your devices. A compatibility check is essential before downloading the Cricut software. Otherwise, you can’t use the app properly on an incompatible device.

 

On Desktops

For better performance on Windows PCs, you will need to use Windows 10 or a later version. Similarly, if you are a Mac user, you should have macOS 11 or later. You should also have 4 GB of RAM and 2 GB of free disk space. In addition, you will need a CPU with Intel Dual-Core or equivalent AMD processor.

 

However, you will want a CPU with a 1.83 GHz on a Mac. Plus, you will need a computer with Bluetooth built-in and a USB port.

 

On Smartphones

Android users need Android version 10.0 or higher. However, iOS users require iOS 15 or later.

Answer: In case the Design Space is taking too much time to load and not working properly for some reason, you will need to use the latest Cricut Design Space on your Mac or Windows desktops. For this, you can update the software, which will resolve the issue quickly.

 

Question 2: Can I use Cricut Design Space offline?

Answer: Absolutely, yes, you can use the offline feature in Design Space. The Cricut has launched an offline feature for Windows, MacBook, iPad/iPhone. As of now, Cricut is not supporting offline features on any Android device. So, make sure you are using a compatible device.
