About us
Venturing programs embrace experiential education as a way to help build people who build communities. Youth in a Venturing program (aged 14-20) are in a Crew.
Crew 21 is a newly-established BSA unit serving the State College area. We are an inclusive group chartered by Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania and its maker-space, The Rivet.

APR 17th: Abbe Hamilton, State College local, achieved the highest award in Girl Scouting, the ‘Gold Award’, and participates in a wide variety of outdoor activities. Abbe has run some of the biggest rivers in North America and will share stories about her life path in the outdoors, her outdoor career choices, and why outdoor adventure of any kind is good for you.
