#1 Only moms need to join 

A strong PTA needs the support of everyone! Parents, family members, teachers, school staff, community members, etc.

#2 Joining the PTA means I have to volunteer

If you want to volunteer, that is great, but your support as a member is enough.

#3 I have to be a board member or chair a committee to join 

You do not have to serve on the PTA Board or chair a committee. There are lots of ways to contribute.

#4 PTA membership never expires, I only have to join once

Each new school year begins a new membership year - be sure to renew. 

#5 I don’t have the time to join 

Just becoming a member gives your financial support which is greatly needed and appreciated.
