Being a PTA member is a simple but powerful way to champion your child's education, whether or not you have time to volunteer. As part of the largest children's advocacy organization in the country, our members enjoy real benefits:

Top 5 Myths About Membership
#1 Only moms need to join
A strong PTA needs the support of everyone! Parents, family members, teachers, school staff, community members, etc.
#2 Joining the PTA means I have to volunteer
If you want to volunteer, that is great, but your support as a member is enough.
#3 I have to be a board member or chair a committee to join
You do not have to serve on the PTA Board or chair a committee. There are lots of ways to contribute.
#4 PTA membership never expires, I only have to join once
Each new school year begins a new membership year - be sure to renew.
#5 I don’t have the time to join
Just becoming a member gives your financial support which is greatly needed and appreciated.
