The Crescent Crier is a student newspaper, established in 1971, with the objective of sharing youth voices and reporting on local events for the Crescent Valley High School and greater community. We aim to provide CVHS students with informed, valid, and impartial news.

Junior Editor

I am excited to serve as Junior Editor for the Crescent Crier! In the past I have written articles about subjects like school sports and interesting books, and have really appreciated the chance to develop writing skills through regular practice. I am thrilled to be a part of the Crier again this year! When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading, knitting, acting, graveyards, and running with the CV Cross country team.

Editor in Chief

I am proud to serve as the editor of the newspaper. In my position, I edit articles, recruit writers, and write about my interests.

I primarily write about local politics and district news, but I write about Crescent Valley (CV) athletics as well. Outside of the Crescent Crier, I love to read, ride my bike, and travel.

Sports Editor

As the Sports Editor of the Crescent Crier, I am responsible for writing and editng sports articles. I write about Cv sports, local college sports, and issues in sports.

Outside of the Crier, I run Cross Country and Track, I enjoy hanging out friends and family, and exploring Oregon!

Marketing Editor & Student Government Reporter

I am proud to serve as the Marketing Co-Editor of the Crescent Crier. In this position, I am excited to increase engagement and readership of the paper. I mainly write about Crescent Valley student government and like to write about student outreach programs! I love to participate in sports, travel, and spend time with friends.

Layout Lead

I am honored to hold the position of Layout Editor for the Crescent Crier. It is my job to layout and organize articles and get them ready for the monthly editions. Outside of the Crescent Crier, I love to travel, spend time with my family and friends, try out new hobbies, and getting those gains at the gym.
