After the successful DC1 we decided to do a vote for new logos for the new season. My logo that you see here won and became the logo for DC2. This was the first time I designed a DaftCraft Logo.
After the failure of DC2 we moved on to an unrecorded DC3. The server was verry unsucsesful and we ended up ending it shortly into the season. But this is still one of my favorit of the logos.
After a good long hiatus we returned with a new season. Though we decided to abandon the numbering scheme and instead called it DC Returns.
After the climatic end of DCRe we came back for another season this time with a lot more of a twist. In keeping with the last season we called this server DC Ups&Downs.
As you can see I decided to create a poster for The Legend of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom. I began by creating the glowing green ring behind the logo by creating a doughnut like shape and carving away at it in Adobe Photoshop. I then took a photo of the real TOTK logo and created a replica of the text in Adobe Illustrator. I then bring the illustrator file into photoshop were I used the paintbrush to create the background for the poster. I then drew a sketch for Link from references and colored him in with the pencil + fill tools. Finaly I ended it off by adding in the credits in illustrator and it was done.
Here I created an illustration of the character Mir from my web pilot Myr And The Multiverse encountering a creature called an Ouoo in the woods of Old Utros. Lore aside I began making this drawing by sketching out were I wanted Mir, the Ouoo, and the foliage in Adobe Photoshop. Once I had a sketch I created 2 rectangles that would make up the majority of the Ouoo. I carved away at the rectangles sides to make them seem more organic and rock like. Once the shape was right I used the paintbrush tool to add a bit of texturing to the Ouoo. I then added the 2 symbols o the Ouoo and it was done. Moving on to Mir I began by black lining the sketches with the pencil tool. I then filled in the colors having to use a separate coloring layer to get the 2 tone hair. Once she was done I added in the foliage using the foliage brush and added in shading using a transparent black layer. Then it came to the background, I tried out multiple different ideas before settling on a simple dark green and red leafy enviorment.
