Utal abducts five child soldiers from a compound that he and his pack have sacked as part of a routine clean up operation near the spirit infested wilds. Teaching the children the values of his people, he tries to educate them and rehabilitate them into something more than just disposable soldiers in a world where magic and spirits have crept back into our world.
