Each week here is what is for homework
Myquickmath 3-5 times a week (see below for MQM details)
Middle School Math - Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday if we are in school. If there is a Monday where we are not in school, then no hw. If we are in school but the next day we are not, still there is homework (see below for MSM details)
MyQuickMath Details
1) Student will be given a quiz grade each week for MQM
2) There are 3 levels for each topic (new topic each week)
3) Each topic, student must get 90% or higher to "pass" the level
4) Students are given stars after each session
5) Student can redo a level as many times as they want on that same day until 5 stars (up to midnight of that day)
6) Each set of stars gives a student points: 5 stars is 33 pts, 4 stars is 25 pts, 3 stars is 15 pts
7) Once a student has passed a level for the day, they can't move on, they have to wait for the next day do work on the next level
8) The points are added up to give a weekly quiz grade. The week is from Monday to Sunday at midnight.
Example: Student A works on MQM on Monday and gets 3 stars (and decides not to work on it any more for that day) they will get 15 pts, Tuesday works on it and gets 5 stars (33 pts), then on Friday works on it and gets 4 stars (25 pts). Then they would have a 73 for the week. However, on Monday or Friday, they could have redone it until they do better. Or, they could do another day and get more points. Each student will want to do this 3-5 times a week and each session is around 5- 10 minutes.
Middle School Math Homework Details
1) Any day we are in school on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday there will be hw assigned
2) There is a minimum grade to "pass" the hw. Students can redo it if they don't pass until they pass it
3) A "passing" grade will result in a 100 (if completed by the next morning)
