CreditCheq is an independent credit card comparison and aggregator platform designed for the Indian market. Our app helps consumers discover and compare credit cards from leading Indian banks. We are NOT a bank, NBFC, or financial institution. We earn affiliate commissions when users successfully apply for credit cards through our platform.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
CreditCheq does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data including but not limited to:
• Name, email address, phone number
• PAN (Permanent Account Number)
• Aadhaar number or any government-issued ID
• Bank account details or credit card numbers
• Credit score or financial information
• Location data, device identifiers, or usage analytics
We do not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting (such as Firebase Analytics), or tracking services.
3. Locally Stored Data
The app stores the following information locally on your device using AsyncStorage:
• Onboarding completion flag (to know if you've completed the first-time setup)
• Disclaimer acceptance flag (to record that you accepted the disclaimer)
• Applied cards list (cards you chose to apply for through the app, including card name, bank name, and the date you tapped "Apply Now")
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server. You can clear this data at any time from the Settings screen.
4. Affiliate Links
CreditCheq contains affiliate links to bank websites. When you tap "Apply Now" on a card, you are redirected to the bank's official website. If your application is successful, we may earn an affiliate commission from the bank. This commission does not affect:
• Your application in any way
• Any fees or charges applied to you by the bank
• The terms and conditions of the credit card
We clearly disclose our affiliate relationship before every redirection.
5. Third-Party Websites
When you apply for a card, you are redirected to the respective bank's official website. CreditCheq is not responsible for:
• The content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party websites
• Any data you provide to the bank during your application
• The outcome of your credit card application
We recommend reviewing the bank's privacy policy before submitting any personal information.
6. Children's Policy
CreditCheq is intended for users aged 18 years and above only. We do not knowingly provide services to individuals under 18 years of age. Credit card applications require the applicant to meet the bank's eligibility criteria, which typically includes a minimum age of 18-21 years.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Advertising
